Achieving Cooperation through Communication

Are you frustrated because you are expected to advocate for yourself following an upsetting medical diagnosis?

Are you wondering who would be a good match for you as your advocate if you are sick? Do you want to tell someone who cares about you that they do not understand your needs?

What if you are in a sudden medical crisis? Is your family ready to step up and advocate for you when the need arises?

Do you find yourself talking about your own illness or experience when trying to be an advocate for someone else?

Do you find yourself giving advice when you need to be listening and being empathetic?

If you have these or similar concerns or experiences, you may need, or may benefit from training in Critical Communication.

As part of our patient advocacy workshop, you can take part in Critical Communication training which will help you or your advocate be objective, respectful yet firm and assertive when needed.

Don’t forget to ask for Critical Communication training separate from, or along with, the Family Advocacy Training Workshop.
